YOUTH & FAMILY COUNSELLOR - TRAINING & LEARNING CENTRE PROGRAM (Full-Time Permanent)
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The Youth & Family Counsellor is a full-time permanent position which has been developed with cultural diversity unique to each First Nation and meets the traditional protocols in the establishment of community based programming. The Youth & Family Counsellor is responsible for custodial duty of the residents of the TLC, for planning and managing their treatment, and for providing assessment and counselling and other services to them during their residency.

VIOLENCE INTERVENTION PROJECT COORDINATOR (TERM TO June 2011)
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Under the supervision of the Director of Nanaadawewinan, the VI Project Coordinator will be responsible for effective organization and coordination of culturally competent services that are related to domestic violence: specifically, prevention and intervention strategies that are congruent to the customs of the ten area First Nations. The VI Project Coordinator will work from a strengths perspective to enhance the knowledge base, increase skills and engage in the development of services in accordance with Weechi-it-te-win philosophy and community customs.
