National Day of Healing and Reconciliation May 26
Weechi-it-te-win Family Services is a culturally competent organization meant to preserve and support cultural identity with our children and families within our communities. Weechi-it-te-win supports various initiatives across the Nation and beyond and would like to introduce the National Day of Healing and Reconciliation as events that create awareness on reconciliations processes for people throughout Canada. This unique initiative allows for culturally competent bridging between different worldviews. It is a day of education, forgiveness, support and a time to move forward together. As leaders in cultural competence initiatives, we would like to initiate various activities in our district to support this venture. Together we can make a difference and make the world a better place for our children and our children’s children.
