Program Managers

Daniel Morrisseau is Anishinaabe from Couchiching First Nation and is a member of the Sturgeon Clan. Daniel received his diploma in Indigeninous Wellness Addiction Prevention from Canadore College. Daniel is currently working on his H.B.S.W, part-time through Lakehead University. Daniel has been with Weechi-it-te-win Family Services since 2009. During his tenure at W.F.S Daniel has worked diligently with the youth and families at the Ganawendasowin Treatment and Assessment Programs.

Daniel Morrisseau currently holds the position of Program Manager with Weechi-it-te-win Family Services. Daniel has held many different positions in the child welfare field. These positions include, Family Youth Counsellor, On-Call Worker, One to One and Acting Bi-Cultural Clinician. Daniel has experienced firsthand our customary Care approach as a youth. This experience has provided an in depth, extensive knowledge and understanding of the child welfare system. Daniel possesses a great deal of experience, education, in developing, modifying, presenting and training curriculum to various age groups.
